Measurements and Results

Exporting Results

What can be exported once the measurement results are ready.

Documentation sections

Export is needed when the measurement results are ready and need to be taken out of the platform: for an internal memo, consultant work, organization archive, or further analysis. It preserves the management picture of the results but does not reveal raw participant responses.

Export is available to those who have access to the survey analytics. If the processing of the selected measurement is not yet completed, the export is not generated.

Formats

The platform provides two formats: JSON with safe aggregates and a Markdown report with a management summary.

JSON is convenient when the results need to be transferred to another system, saved in an archive, or parsed manually as structured data. The Markdown report is convenient for reading: it can be placed in an internal note, sent to a consultant, or used as a basis for discussion.

What is in the JSON

JSON contains basic information about the export: the organization, the survey name, the selected measurement, the export date, the overall result, and the number of participants who completed the survey.

For questions, the formulation, average score, category, and safe semantic groups of similar answers are exported. For such groups, the name, summary, size, share, and the related management topic (if any) are shown.

Growth points are exported separately: name, topic, priority, status, assignee, description, and ideas with reactions. For teams, the JSON includes high-level results that help to see differences between parts of the organization.

What is in the Markdown report

The Markdown report is a ready-made text summary for the organization for the selected measurement. It does not attempt to replace the entire analytics interface: it contains a management summary that is convenient to read and discuss outside the platform.

If the report for the selected measurement is not yet ready or has not been generated, it cannot be downloaded. In this case, you must first wait for the finalization to complete.

What is not exported

Raw answers, participant emails, technical identifiers, and service fields are not included in the export. If there is insufficient data for safe display, the corresponding section is hidden both in the interface and in the export.

The file may contain working names that are already visible in the platform: for example, who made the export or who is responsible for a growth point. This does not reveal the authorship of answers. Anonymity protects the participant’s response, while open discussion of growth points remains part of teamwork.

The export helps bring the picture outside, but does not replace work within the platform. Growth points, ideas, comments, and assignees continue to live in the product, and the next measurement checks whether the chosen actions have worked.
